Nadir-esque Arguments: Christians > Atheists

Spirituality

You can offer examples the other way around too, if you want.

Christian: "You will realize I was right when you die".

Christian to an ex-Christian non-believer: "You were never a Christian."

Variant 1: "You must have been a bad Christian".

Variant 2: "Jesus never knew you."

Christian to an atheist: "You cannot possibly understand what it is to believe in Christ until you believe in Christ. Then, a supernatural transformation in you takes place that makes you realize it is incorrect to not believe in Christ."

Atheist to a Christian: "There is no difference between believing in Christ and believing in the flying spaghetti monster."

Carry on with yourself, as you don't need anyone else on this new creation of yours. Just hold your ground against yourself, and don't give in to yourself.

It's a pity that you settle for this kind of prattle so often.

Christian: There must be divine retribution because, if not, some people would get away with doing evil things.

Typical reaction by you to those who disagree. With the addition of a denigrating mention of another poster who disagrees.

Atheist: there is evil in the world and if God existed He wouldn't allow it.

[This is a line of atheist thinking that has never resonated with me]

Is being compared to @mchill the same as being "denigrated"?
